Description

Imperial funriture out of Grand Rapids Michigan was once anointed at the worlds greatest table makers. Founded in 1903 by F. Stuart Foote a former stickler lumber buyer. Imperial enjoyed growth and success until 1954 when Foote died and the company was sold.

This exceptional table by Imperial was made in the 1940s. At the time the company was also building airplane wings for the government. The pie crust tea table has beautiful trimming and a lovely wood grain. Made from Mahogany with a fluted center post leading to acanthus carved flourishes along the legs and ball and claw feet.
